Are you a fan yet?

NTLP is proud to recognize these wonderful contributors to our program!

“NTLP is one of the best investments we can make in the future of our country, because we are molding and educating future leaders of the world. NTLP is probably the cheapest insurance policy this country could ever have to indemnify us against internal domestic problems.”

The Biedenharn Foundation
NTLP is a fortunate grant recipient from the Biedenharn Foundation. Since 2004, NTLP has received $20,000 in annual $5000 grants from the Louisana-based Foundation to help with program expenditures and scholarships for deserving youth.

California National Guard
The California National Guard has been a proud sponsor of the National Teen Leadership Program since 1995. Over the years, the CNG has sponsored more than 450 students to NTLP programs (which equates to over $150,000), many from community based service organizations (People Reaching Out, Friday Night Live), Guard sponsored programs (Grizzly Academy, DEFY-Drug Education For Youth) and sons and daughters of military personnel.

Additionally, the CNG provides many in-kind services such as printing, personnel, transportation assistance and on-site assistance, such as workshop presenters and interview judges.

We are honored to have members of the CA National Guard serve as Board Members for NTLP. Notably: The Adjutant General for the state of California, Maj Gen William Wade, and our point-of-contact for the Counterdrug Task Force, MAJ Jeffery Moore.

The GAP, Inc.
The GAP has been providing quality Tee Shirts to our attending students at no charge since 2005. Additionally, through 1993 alumni and former GAP employee, Carrick Sears, NTLP has been the recipient of over $5000 in volunteer and matching funds.

This studly group of alumni, Julie Alberty (01), Pat Lahey (00), and Eugene Canatol (98), model our GAP shirts at NTLP 2007.

GOOGLE
In 2007, NTLP was awarded a Google Grants Award. NTLP receives free advertising (at $10,000 per month!) through their AdWords campaign. This means that when you search for “youth leadership” or “leadership programs”, among many other key words in Google, NTLP will come up either at the top or on the side or the page.  NTLP has also been fortunate to receive matching funds, through our alumni and newest Board Member, 1998 alumni, Vikram Grover.

Granite Bay Recruiters
Granite Bay Recruiters supports the vision with NTLP: to create a community where the values that contribute to transforming children into adults of good character and positive outlook are infused throughout the nation. Cultivating and inspiring teens to become civic leaders is of lasting benefit to the entire community. Granite Bay Recruiters, owned and operated by 1993 alumna, Vivian Suh, continuously supports NTLP’s annual fundraising activities, to ensure adequate proceeds for the organization’s annual summer youth camp programs.

TriWest Healthcare Alliance
In December 2008, NTLP was the grateful recipient of $15,000 from TriWest Healthcare Alliance. War takes its toll not only on the troops who fight in the field, but also on the families who wait and worry at home. More than 155,000 kids have at least one parent who is deployed in the war on terrorism. This staggering figure doesn’t even include those experiencing routine, but often lengthy deployments and separations from loved ones. Fear, worry, heavy responsibilities, isolation, loneliness, missed birthdays, holidays and special events…these are just some of the things that our military kids face.

In December 2008, NTLP was the grateful recipient of $15,000 from TriWest Healthcare Alliance. Laura Segura, Director, stands next to LT COL Jay Brookman, Commander, Counterdrug Task Force, at the presentation ceremony.

NTLP is pleased to use the funds from this donation to help the sons and daughters of military personnel serving overseas, to NTLP 2009.

Wells Fargo Bank
Individual branches of Wells Fargo Bank have generously donated over $8000 to help students attend NTLP.  Since 2007, Wells Fargo Bank of El Dorado Hills has contributed $3000 and NTLP was pleased to recognize Wells Fargo Bank and Mr. Chevo Ramirez, Regional Vice President, Nor Cal  Foundation, for their ongoing support to our community as well as the support they have shown to the students who attend the NTLP program.

Chevo Ramirez, Wells Fargo Bank, was honored at our 2008 Closing program.
