How can I help the National Teen Leadership Program?

NTLP is celebrating 15 years of leadership excellence and is looking for your help to further the growth of our program with year round fund-raising efforts. We have compiled this list of ways you can support NTLP on an everyday basis or with just one donation.

Any support from you is appreciated and is (in most cases) tax deductible. Please help us encourage and inspire the thousands of deserving teens to develop their leadership skills and contribute to their communities.

eScrip

This is one of NTLP’s best fundraisers and the one that is the easiest for you to participate! If you shop at Safeway, Von's, Pavillions, EW Value, Albertson’s, Ralphs, Cala Bell, or Raley’s/Belair/NOB HILL FOODS, NTLP receives a percentage of EVERY grocery sale each time you use your Grocery Loyality cardl

It does not cost the person helping us even one single dime and they don't have to prepay for scrip or remember to use a special card. Just scanning their grocery loyalty card helps us every time they buy groceries!

Vechicle Donation Program

Donate when it is easier to donate rather than sell it yourself.
Is your vehicle sellable in the shape its in? When you donate it, you can make an itemized deduction of the retail value less the cost of repairs without having to hassle with doing repairs.
When you sell it yourself, you get much less than the retail value. The tax benefit is often worth more than you would realize after fixing up the vehicle to sell.

Donate when the tax benefits are greater than the trade-in value offered by the dealer.

UNITED WAY

Many participate in contribution programs that donate to the United Way through their work. If a specific organization is not selected, United Way donates funds as needed or pools monies to distribute to a wide number of groups. If you don’t have a personal preference and would like the United Way to earmark your deductions for us, please have them designate the National Teen Leadership Program on your pledge cards, when the United Way Annual Campaign comes around each year. Open enrollment and changes in deductions generally happen in the fall.
