NTLP is an honored recipient of Senator Barbara Boxer's "Excellence in Education Award". Senator Boxer established this award to recognize teachers, parents and organizations that are working to make positive change in education. Since 1997 Senator Boxer has presented the Excellence in Education Awards to only 38 recipients.
